Board Meetings and Participation

The ENN-NEON Board meets in odd-numbered months (January, March, May, July, September, and November) to discuss issues, initiatives, and opportunities relevant to our neighborhood.

All board meetings are open to all ENN-NEON residents who wish to attend. Meeting dates, times, and locations will be posted on the ENN-NEON website and shared via our Facebook page.

We encourage community participation and look forward to working together to continue strengthening and improving our neighborhood.

Hahn Liquors Planning Relocation to ENN-NEON

Hahn Liquors has announced plans to relocate its business from its current location on the north side of Devon Avenue to a new location on the south side of Devon, placing it within the ENN-NEON neighborhood boundaries.

As part of this proposed move, Hahn Liquors has requested that the existing liquor moratorium be lifted for the block where the business intends to locate. Under Chicago city ordinance, any lifting of a liquor moratorium must remain in effect for a minimum of one year.

In December 2025, representatives from Hahn Liquors met with the ENN-NEON Board of Directors to discuss the reasons for the relocation, the nature of the business, and the Board’s questions and concerns regarding the request. Following that discussion, the ENN-NEON Board voted to support Hahn Liquors’ relocation and issued a formal letter of support to the Alderman.

The Board’s support reflects its belief that Hahn Liquors is a positive member of the community and aligns with ENN-NEON’s interest in responsible, community-oriented businesses.

The Board’s letter of support is available [at this link].
